The “Careers and Futures” speakers series creates a relaxed, round table environment where students can engage with a diverse range of public leaders working domestically and internationally in poverty action.

Join us in a conversation with Mattia P. Galletti who is Lead Technical Specialist for the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). Based in Rome, the IFAD is an agency of the United Nations focused on the financing of food production projects in the developing world. For more than twenty years, he worked as Program Manager for the Asia and Pacific Division running programs for Bhutan, Laos, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Iran, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and India. Since January 2014, he has served as the Lead Technical Specialist in the Policy and Technical Advisory Division focusing on project design and evaluation for smallholder institutions. Mr. Prayer Galletti holds a University Degree in Political Science from the University of Bologna, and two Masters in Economics of Agro-Food Systems (Cremona, Italy) and in Development Studies (Geneva, Switzerland).
