Thursday 4/16 from 4:30-6:00 PM in 112 Hilgard we will be hosting Laurence Frank, director of the Living with Lions project at Panthera. He will be speaking on his work on multidisciplinary approaches to conserving large African predators outside of protected areas and parks. Following the talk there will be a Q&A. The meeting starts at 4:30, with pizza, vegan snacks, & refreshments while we socialize and provide updates to SCB projects. The seminar will begin at 5:00. This talk is part of our "Meeting Conservation" seminar series, which brings conservation professionals to campus to speak about conservation work outside of academia.
