CLEAR, a grad student and postdoc group, intermittently sponsors roundtables on contemporary topics to raise awareness and encourage activism. This next one features National Public Radio’s science correspondent, Joe Palca, who will address, among other things, the current topic of fake news. CLEAR members feel this is a topic we all need to think about. Serious challenges to fact-based decision making have been pushed by policy makers, media makers, and others in the public sphere.
