Recent months have seen a significant rise in extreme weather events. Back-to-back hurricanes have led to severe destruction in Puerto Rico, Texas, and Florida. Right here in the Bay Area, we’ve seen a heat wave breaking records on Labor Day, and wildfires destroying communities in wine country. This meteorological mayhem is a hallmark of climate change. Join the Undergraduate Economics Association’s Academic Affairs Committee as we explore the economic impacts of climate change. Come share your voice and get caught up on the latest economics news.
