Camila Custodio is a Puerto Rican, UC Berkeley graduate in Ethnic Studies, with a specific focus in Latin American studies. She holds interests in agroecology within rural and low-income communities, gastronomic possibilities of domestic ingredients and native dishes, food and environmental justice and conservation, as well as community self-sustainability. She hopes to apply all that she has learned at the University of California, Berkeley and throughout her life to her homeland, Borinkén, as well as greater Latin America. Camila is currently conducting research on the relationships between Land, Water and campesino rural communities post-Maria in Puerto Rico. Camila hopes to continue pursuing education through non-traditional forms of learning, both including and beyond orthodox University.
