Hi everyone! My name is Nika, and I am excited to get to know you. I am a current junior majoring in Microbial Biology. I grew up in the East Bay and love to explore, so please feel free to ask me what to do here, I would love to share my favorite spots with you. I am Pre-Dental, and I have a lot of experience shadowing, reaching out to offices, and overall knowledge about the application process. If you are considering switching majors in Rausser, I got you, I was previously a Genetics and Plant Biology major, and went through switching majors in sophomore year.
Additionally, I spent my sophomore year doing 450+ hours of community service through the College Corps program here at Berkeley. If you are interested in community service, or interning at non-profit organizations, I really recommend College Corps and would love to share my experience with you. I have two work study jobs, one at BAMPFA, Berkeley's Art Museum, and one at the Office of the Registrar. As a first gen student, I completely understand how hard it is to navigate and adjust to college, all whilst supporting yourself, friends, and family. I am really an open book and would love to chat about anything, or even just be a listening ear.
