Hey everyone!
I'm Abdul! I'm an international student from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and I am a senior double-majoring in Environmental Science and Genetics & Plant Biology. I'm passionate about sustainable agriculture, plant gene editing, and global conservation practices.
I've had the chance to support other students as a Golden Bear Orientation Leader and as a peer advisor for new international students through the Berkeley International Office.
In my free time, I enjoy binge-watching TV shows, reading new books from the public library, listening to new music (K-pop especially!), hiking with friends, and trying out new restaurants.
