Olivia Kim (She/Her)

Bio/CV:

Hi! My name is Olivia and I'm a fourth-year majoring in Environmental Economics & Policy and Geography and minoring in City Planning. I’m from Davis, CA and I'm passionate about social and environmental justice, community development, and food systems.

I'm currently working on a Geography honors thesis on urban renewal and community resistance in San Francisco Japantown. I'm also part of the Berkeley Student Food Collective and the Pie Queens, the women's club ultimate frisbee team. Beyond that, I've researched Bay Area urban agriculture through URAP, studied abroad in Chile, and interned for two local government agencies and a nonprofit that connects school districts with local organic farmers. In my free time, I love to bike, play sports, go to parks, and play guitar and banjo.

If you're looking for advice on academics, finding research/internship opportunities, or just want to chat, I'm here to support you!
