I'm from:
I hail from the state of the peaches, the grits, and the BEST fried chicken and Soul Food known to mankind – also known as Georgia. I was born and raised in the city of Atlanta, and I'm Southerner to the heart! And therefore I'll say this: Falcons over Raiders any day!!!
What brought me here:
In addition to the Endocrinology program, genuinely happy faces, lovely weather, and diverse people and foods, I eventually chose Berkeley because of what felt like a true, divine connection. And as hackneyed as that sounds, a part of me was truly awakened when I stepped foot on these hills, and ever since then I've been here!
Current stage in program:
2nd year, Endocrinology (Stahl's Lab)
Outside of lab I love:
When I'm not serving as a test subject to high-intensity laser beam experiments, I also work one-on-one with Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, and Derrick Rose to improve their crossovers and jump shots. When I'm not teaching them new moves or playing volleyball, I tend travel to different locations across the globe, try to serve as a resource for undergraduates, play the viola and piano, cook, eat, and sleep!
