What brought me here:
Participating in the summer program in University of Calfornia, Davis helped me to realize that the USA is the right place to fulfill myself as a scientist. When I visited UC Berkeley I understood that it is a place where I want to study. And now I am extremely happy to join Dr. Sul's lab.
Current stage in program:
3rd year Endocrinology Ph.D. Candidate, Hei Sook Sul Lab.
Outside of lab I love:
Hanging out with friends, playing basketball, watching movies, reading.
Through my research practice at the university my deep interest in molecular mechanisms of toxicology, drug metabolism, molecular and cell biology and cancerogenesis increased dramatically. Contributing somehow to understanding the risk posed by pollutants/cancerogens and the mechanisms by which they cause diseases is very attractive and fascinating.
