The Rausser College of Natural Resources will host the Spring 2024 Commencement on Monday, May 13th, at 7pm at the Hearst Greek Theatre.  The gates will open at 6pm.  The ceremony will last about 3 hours.

If you require an accommodation for effective communication (ASL interpreting/CART captioning, alternative media formats, etc.) or information about campus mobility access features in order to fully participate in this event, please fill out the following Accommodation Request form by Friday, May 3rd.

LIVESTREAM
The ceremony will be broadcasted live for free via Livestreaming on YouTube for those that are unable to attend the ceremony.

PARKING
Parking for the Rausser College ceremony is only available on a first-come, first-serve basis the day of the ceremony.  Guests may not reserve parking ahead of time. More information about parking options and prices will be posted here by April 5th.

ENTERING THE HEARST GREEK THEATRE
All guests must enter the North Gate of the Greek Theatre.  The South Gate is not open to guests.

ADA ACCESS
Guests with limited mobility or guests who are in wheelchairs may be dropped off near the North Entrance.  The South Gate is not open to guests.

ADA parking is available in the Upper Hearst Lot and the Stadium Garage.  The Hearst Greek Theatre is not legally allowed to provide wheelchairs to guests.  Guests are encouraged to rent wheelchairs from local businesses for ease of access.  

Guests who have requested seating accommodations or hearing devices will receive assistance from the Hearst Theatre staff ONCE they have entered the venue.  Due to limited accessible seating, guests who cannot manage stairs may have a maximum of one additional guest sit with them in the accessible seating area.  The Greek Theatre house staff will make every effort to sit additional family and friends close by.

Closed captioning will be available in English, Mandarin, and Spanish via a QR code that will be posted at the North Entrance.  You may click here to join closed captioning when it is available.  Please note that graduate names will not be captioned. 

PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are PROHIBITED inside the Greek Theatre:

  • Large bags or backpacks
  • Glass bottles / Aluminum cans
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Coolers / Ice chests
  • Baby strollers (Designated parking is available inside)
  • Skateboards / bicycles / scooters
  • Musical instruments
  • Fireworks
  • Noise-makers / airhorns
  • Rolls of toilet paper
  • Confetti cannons and/or poppers
  • Color bomb cannons and/or poppers
  • Balloons (May be tied-off at the entrace gates at own discretion)
  • Umbrellas
  • Signs / banners / flags

There is no bag or coat check available.  All bags are subject to search.
