Greek Theatre Gates Open

Rausser College commencement guest admission will begin at 5:30 pm at the North Gate. Those with disabilities should enter the Greek Theatre through the South Gate (available by entering through the Bowles Parking Lot).

Commencement Program

Commencement will begin promptly at 7pm and we estimate the ceremony will conclude by 9pm.

The College will not be hosting a reception.

Students' Location in the Theater

Graduate students and faculty sit on stage. Undergraduates sit in the Greek Theatre's pit. Use this map to see approximately where undergraduate students will be seated. Family and friends should know ahead of time where students will be so that they can locate them more easily, without having to use cell phones. All seats at the Greek Theatre are neither shaded nor padded. Guests should bring seat cushions and jackets to ensure their comfort during the duration of the ceremony.

Special Seating and Other Accommodations

The deadline to submit special seating requests is April 29th. Special seating guest(s) should be dropped off at the south entrance of the Greek Theatre (through the Bowles lot). We will have special seating request information at this gate and ushers to assist special seating guests. Due to limited special seating, guests who cannot manage stairs may have a maximum of one additional guest sit with them in the special seating area. The house staff will make every effort to sit additional family and friends close by. Please note that the special seating area, while accessible, has concrete seating. Guests may bring seat cushions.

The deadline to submit communications accommodations is also April 29th. Individuals who submitted the online form prior to April 29th should check in with an usher upon their arrival to the Greek.

If graduates or guests require any other form of accommodation to participate fully in the College's Spring 2022 Commencement Ceremony, please contact us at to request those accommodations between now and April 29th. Requests made after this date will be considered but may not be fulfilled without adequate notice.
