Tickets

Commencement is a ticketed event. Each attendee (including infants and children) must have a ticket to be admitted to the commencement ceremony. Graduates do not need tickets. For more information about Cal Performance ticketing policies click here.

Students who registered online by the April 12 deadline should have picked up their 2 free tickets from the CNR front desk between April 24-26. Additional tickets will be $5 and may be purchased through Cal Performances, starting on April 24(click here for Zellerbach box office hours). If any tickets remain they will be sold day-of at the Greek Theatre Box Office (by North Main Entrance) before the CNR commencement ceremony.

Special Seating and Other Accommodations

The deadline to submit special seating requests will be available soon. Special seating guest(s) should be dropped off at the south entrance of the Greek Theatre (through the Bowles lot). We will have special seating request information at this gate and ushers to assist special seating guests. Due to limited special seating, guests who cannot manage stairs may have a maximum of one additional guest sit with them in the special seating area. The house staff will make every effort to sit additional family and friends close by. Please note that the special seating area, while accessible, has concrete seating. Guests may bring seat cushions.

The deadline to submit communications accommodations will be available soon. Individuals who submit the online form prior to the deadline should check in with an usher upon their arrival at the Greek Theatre.

If graduates or guests require any other form of accommodation to participate fully in CNR's Spring 2019 Commencement Ceremony, please contact us at cnrcommencement@berkeley.edu. Requests made after the deadline will be considered but may not be fulfilled without adequate notice. If you would like more information about campus accessibility and physical access features, please go to access.berkeley.edu.

  • Turn off cell phones and other sound bearing devices for the duration of the ceremony.
  • Remain in your seats until the Dean announces the end of the ceremony to ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests.

We'll see you at the Greek Theatre on Monday, May 20, 2019!
