This panel will explore the impact of COVID-19 on the Latinx labor force. The panelists will discuss their research results and the impacts to our community from a health and socioeconomic perspective. The panel seeks to raise awareness as to how the COVID-19 occurrence has resulted in disproportionate negative impacts to the Latinx communities in California and beyond. Panelists will furthermore discuss and share their ideas that could result in more targeted and efficient mitigation measures that could result in more equitable socio economic outcomes for the Latinx community in California and beyond.
