Undergraduate Education

Welcome to Rausser College of Natural Resources!

Rausser College of Natural Resources provides exceptional opportunities to study the dynamic interactions of the environment, health, and society; develop policies that will meet fundamental human needs; and serve the public by transferring research findings to society.

Rausser College prides itself on providing students the experience of a “small college” while still having access to all of the resources and opportunities of the larger UC Berkeley campus. Rausser College is one of 15 colleges and schools at the University of California, Berkeley, and our students take courses in almost every department and college on campus. Rausser College remains small enough to assure individual attention for each student, offering: dedicated staff College Advisors, faculty and graduate student mentorship, small classes, and well-supported research and field studies programs.

Undergraduate Advising and Support

Rausser College Advisors in the Office of Instruction & Student Affairs are professional staff who work with both prospective and current Rausser College students and serve as guides while students earn their undergraduate degree.  In collaboration with the Office of the Registrar, they maintain student academic records, track degree progress, and finalize degree completion.  They assist students with course enrollment and academic planning, explain college and university policies and procedures, connect students to faculty and other campus  student resources.
