At the Rausser College of Natural Resources, we care about every moment. Moments of discovery, moments of inspiration, and moments of learning are at the heart of the Rausser College experience. These are the moments that shape the lives of our students and inform the kind of impact they will make in the world. 

Big Give is Cal’s 24 hour fundraising effort, and we are encouraging our entire community to give in support of making more of these moments possible. Gifts of all sizes help fund a multitude of opportunities and initiatives, including:

  • Our Sponsored Projects for Undergraduate Research (SPUR), which support collaborative projects between faculty and undergraduate students, helping so many of them gain valuable research experience
  • Our Summer Internship Grants, which level the playing field for internship participation by extending these vital learning opportunities to students who would otherwise lack the resources to participate
  • Our signature Advising Program, which offers highly personalized support for our undergraduates and enables us to provide a small college experience within a large university
