My laboratory investigates mechanisms of bacterial growth, division, cellular organization, and adaptation primarily using the tools of cell biology, biochemistry, and genetics.
Wildfires have grown dramatically over the last five years, both as a result of a century of fire suppression as well as contemporary climate change, which makes fires hotter and more destructive.
The conference will connect scholars, community members, artists, and policy makers around three major systems of oppression in the global Food System: colonization, heteropatriarchy, and capitalism.
