The Rausser College of Natural Resources Logo:

Rausser College of Natural Resources embraces the University of California, Berkeley’s public mission of serving the people of California, our nation, and the world by conducting fundamental and applied research in the biological, physical, and social sciences. As a core entity of the university, our logo must always be deliberately and consistently tied to the UC Berkeley wordmark to reinforce the primary brand.

NOTE: Use of the primary university logo and university seal is only granted in limited instances, with permission from the Office of Business Contracts & Brand Protection.

Two-Tone Blue on White Logo

The preferred logo for Rausser College of Natural Resources. Try to use this as much as possible. It reproduces best on white, light-toned colors, or photographic backgrounds.

Reproduces best on dark-toned colors or dark, dense photographic backgrounds. A "reversed-type" logo without the blue background is also available.

Additional color variations are available for the horizontal and stacked logos. Each variation is available in both digital (RGB) and print (CMYK) colorspaces, and in the following commonly used filetypes:

  • EPS: Illustrator, aka “vector” file, best for most print reproduction uses (including large-format projects)
  • PNG: Best for web use, transparency (when photos or color need to show through), and in Word files.

PDF and SVG versions of the logos are also available.

Department, Program, and Unit Logos

Logo lockups for Rausser College's core academic departments and groups—as well as select programs and research units—have been issued by the Office of Communications & Public Affairs. These lockups help units clearly identify their relationship with Rausser College and UC Berkeley. 

Only official logo lockups produced by the Office of Communications & Public Affairs should be used in communications, and logos should never be recreated or typeset.
