Congratulations to professor Ron Amundson, who has been elected a Fellow of the American Geophysical Union.

AGU Fellows are recognized for their scientific eminence in the Earth and space sciences. Their breadth of interests and the scope of their contributions are remarkable and often groundbreaking. Only 0.1% of AGU membership receives this recognition in any given year.

Fellows will be honored at the Fall AGU meeting to be held in December in 2019.

Amundson joins a growing number CNR faculty who have earned this award over the years, including Garrison Sposito, Inez Fung, Dennis Baldocchi, Todd Dawson, Allen Goldstein, Paolo D'Odorico, Mary Firestone, Margaret Torn, and Susan Hubbard.
