Congratulations to Mary K. Firestone on receiving the 2022 Philippe Duchaufour Division Medal from The European Geosciences Union (EGU). This award honors individuals for their contributions to Earth, planetary, and space sciences.
Firestone is a professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management. Her research focuses on soil microbial ecology and its applications on terrestrial system response to global change, sustainability, biodegradation, and soil structure.
