Hi! I’m Alex and a 4th-year student studying Molecular Environmental Biology. I came to Berkeley intending to major in MCB or Public Health, but figured out that MEB was the perfect fit for my academic interests. I have a strong interest in molecular and epidemiological aspects of infectious diseases, and the flexibility of MEB allows me to explore that. The College’s advising is top notch and I enjoy how easy it is to talk and plan with my adviser. My classes and extracurricular involvement at free clinics have inspired me to pursue the path to becoming a physician. In my free time, I enjoy going on food and dessert adventures with friends, because the Bay Area has the best food!!
