A world-renowned scientist, Dr. Foley's work focuses on the sustainability of our planet and the ecosystems and natural resources we depend on. Throughout his career, he has made major contributions to our understanding of worldwide changes in ecosystems, land use and climate, and global food security.
A noted science communicator, Foley has written many popular articles, op-eds, and essays in publications like National Geographic, Scientific American, the New York Times, The Guardian, Ensia, Yale's Environment 360, and bioGraphic, among others. His presentations on global environmental issues have been featured at hundreds of venues, including the Aspen Environmental Forum, the Chautauqua Institution, and TED.

The coordinator for all CNR DeCals will walk you through the steps, paperwork, and requirements so that you're ahead of the game and can get your DeCal underway easy peezy.
Wellness Week: Expressive Arts Mandala Activity
Join us on Tuesday and create your own Mandala. Mandalas are an expressive arts activity universally used to promote healing and other positive states of being. If you choose to color a mandala it can help you to tap into your creativity without any need for artistic expertise. The process of painting can sooth and nourish.

Come meet employers and alumni from various roles and niches of the Environmental Sector. Some employers and alumni will be actively recruiting for positions, while others will be there to help students learn about the organizations and what they do within the field. This event is appropriate for students who are job/internship seeking (bring your resumes!) and also those who may just be starting to explore what is available in the environmental field.

Want to learn about the fabulous research projects your CNR peers are participating in? Stop by to talk to your peers about the varied research programs and projects they’ve been involved in, and leave inspired to pursue your own research endeavors. Come by to see your fellow classmates' research projects. Refreshments will be provided!
CAL DAY is an all-day event packed with programs, resources, events, and groups and organizations representing various aspects of our campus's rich culture and community. The College of Natural Resources will have activities focused around the many opportunities that prospective CNR students can look forward to upon being admitted into our college. CNR Honors Symposium
Support your peers who have done research through the CNR Honors Program. Each undergraduate honors candidate will give a 10-minute talk on their research and take questions. The audience is welcome to drop in for all or some of the Symposium. Light refreshments provided.
