You are embarking on an incredible experience, the study of Forestry and Natural Resource management at CAL. We know that coming to Berkeley can be an overwhelming experience. Come meet people who share your passion for natural resources. Interacting with other students, faculty and established professionals who share your interests can ease the transition and help you keep your goal in sight.

The WELCOME BARBEQUE is hosted by the College of Natural Resources and the Cal Alumni Foresters. It is typically held at the Russell Reservation Field Station, a 283 acre research station 11 miles from the Berkeley campus. The menu will include suitable fare for vegans and vegetarians as well as carnivores, and there is no charge.
