Jobs (and how to get them)
• If you want a forestry related job, apply noooooow. The hiring process is starting a bit early this year, and if you wait until April, there will be nothing left. So, get on it! Kevin is sending out lots of employment opportunities through the forestry club list serve, so be sure to check those out. Also if you can’t work this summer, you should totally send in applications just to get practice with interviewing.

• Rides can be organized to go to Cal Conclave, if you want to check it out (email logging sports).

In sum, it was exhausting but fun. There were lots of interesting talks and plenty of grad school reps (i.e. lots of connections to be made). And we made it to semi-finals in the quiz bowl! (Yay Cal Forestry!)

So, when should we have the next bean feed? We usually have a joint bean feed with the Bay Area SAF chapter at least once per semester. How about:

1. SAF Bay Area bean feed in November
2. Halloween bean feed on Thursday, October 30^th(dress up encouraged)
